ABOUT US

Starting out in the garage of their home, Leo and Marg Al established Leo Al's Contracting in April of 1977. A family owned and operated General Contractor in its second generation of ownership with the third generation of carpenters working along side their father Jim Al. 

Leo passed away in August of 2017 but his legacy lives on in the homes that continue to be built. 

Dave Al (Leo's son) who attended to the masonry end of the business passed away in November of 2021. 

We now provide carpentry and General Carpentry services throughout Mid-Western Ontario. 

We specialize in custom built homes, renovations and additions. 

From the onset of any project whether it be residential or commercial we can walk you through the entire and sometimes daunting process of building or renovating. From design, permits, pricing and organizing all of the sub-trades we work with you every step of the way. 

We have 4 licenced carpenters and several labourers, small but mighty and we offer many years of experience to bring your ideas to fruition. 

Our staff are friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. We are very fortunate to have a dedicated team working with us. 

Many of our customers have become more than just a customer, they have become longtime friends. 

Employees are trained in WHMIS, Health & Safety Awareness, Working at Heights, Emergency First Aid, Aeiral Work Platform Training and Accessibility Training. 

We are a registered builder with Tarion and Home Construction Regulatory Authority. 

We, as well as all of our sub-trades carry liability Insurance as well as coverage under Workplace Safety & Insurance Board for worry free workmanship.
